TITLE VI & ADA POLICY STATEMENTS

S.T.A.R.-Stand Together And Recover Centers, Inc. policy assures full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights act of 1964, the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI states that “no person shall on the grounds of race, color or national origin be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination” under any S.T.A.R. sponsored program or activity.

S.T.A.R. assures that every effort will be made to prevent discrimination through the impacts of its programs, policies and activities on minority and low-income populations. Furthermore, S.T.A.R. will take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to services for persons with limited English proficiency.
