Members are active in the recovery process by participating in groups, building coping, life and work skills, socializing with others, and engaging productively with the community.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 – 7:30, Friday 7:30 – 3:30, Saturday 7:30 – 2:00
Meals: Members enjoy continental breakfast 7:30 -9 am, hot lunch 12:30 pm, snack 2:30 pm and dinner at 5:30 pm at each of the three counseling centers.
Transportation: Shuttle service is available within geographic area of center. Members should request shuttle service at 623-882-8463 by 7 am, or in advance at the center.
Clothing Closet: S.T.A.R. members use STAR dollars (in house money) to purchase clothing, shoes, and hygiene items on Thursday afternoons at Central, East, and West locations.
Food Share: S.T.A.R. members use STAR dollars to purchase pantry items and frozen goods on Friday afternoons at Central, East, and West locations. This program promotes independence and serves to extend the member’s budget.
